World Cup: Belgium knock out USA in extra-time

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Belgium advanced to the quarterfinals of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, defeating the USA in extra-time with the score 2-1.

The sides could not score in the full time. Kevin de Bruyne opened the score on 93 minutes, Romelu Lukaku doubled the lead of Belgium on 105 minutes.

Julian Green was introduced for USA in the beginning of the second extra-time and the young forward immediately got on the scoresheet, finishing brilliantly from a long pass to put it beyond Courtois.

Belgium will face Argentina in the quarterfinals of the World Cup.
