World Bank revises Uzbekistan’s economic growth forecasts for 2025 and 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The World Bank has upgraded its economic growth forecasts for Uzbekistan for 2025 and 2026.

According to the newly published Global Economic Prospects report, Uzbekistan’s GDP grew by 6% in 2024, surpassing the previously forecasted 5.3% (as projected in June 2024).

World Bank experts now predict that Uzbekistan’s economy will expand by 5.8% in 2025, slightly higher than the June 2024 forecast of 5.6%.

For 2026, the bank anticipates GDP growth of 5.9%, which is 0.2 percentage points higher than the previous projection.
