UAE halts trade and financial operations with Iran
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The United Arab Emirates has suspended all commercial activities, trade exchange, and financial transactions with Iran until further notice, according to Afra Al Hamli, director of the strategic communications department at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a written statement, Al Hamli confirmed that all forms of activity, trade exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran have been halted until further notice.
The announcement follows reports from UAE authorities regarding a missile strike launched by Iran targeting port infrastructure in the Emirates. According to UAE officials, the missile failed to reach its intended target.
