Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — JSC “Uzbekiston Temir Yo‘llari” has denied reports of a train hitting a person in the Mirabad district of Tashkent. A video circulating on social media claiming to show the incident does not reflect reality.

The footage was filmed as part of a planned safety awareness campaign, titled “Death on the Railway,” organized by the Transport Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan in cooperation with media representatives.

The company urged internet users to verify information before sharing it, in order to avoid misleading the public.
