Uzbekugol produces 581,300 tonnes of coal in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekugol (Uzbek Coal) open joint stock company extracted 581,300 tonnes of coal and fulfilled forecast for the first quarter of 2010 by 0.2%.

In the reporting period, the company produced goods for 14.5 billion soums in current prices, or executed quarterly forecast by 1.8%, Anons.uz reported.

Uzbekugol open joint-stock company produces 98% of coal in Uzbekistan. The company extracts coal at Angren brown coal mine in Tashkent region with reserves of 1.9 billion tonnes.
