Uzbektelecom cuts price for external internet channel

Uzbektelecom joint stock company announced that it cut price for internet service (external channel) for ISPs up to US$688 per 1 Mbps.
The company recalled that this is third price cut for external internet channel in 2011. In the beginning of 2011, the cost was US$849.
From February 2011, the cost for internet channel was decreased to US$755 per 1 Mbps. On 2 July, the company cut the price to US$705 per 1 Mbps. Now, the price for internet service is US$688 per 1 Mbps. So, the cost of internet channel for ISPs fell by 24.3% this year.
The company said that the price for external internet channel decreased by over 73% from June 2010 to June 2011.
