Uzbekneftegaz, Jereh Group Discuss Expanding Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekneftegaz, led by the chairman of its management board, held talks with the management of China's Jereh Group, a manufacturer of high-tech equipment for the oil and gas industry, during a working visit to China. The parties discussed the current state of cooperation, the implementation of joint projects and prospects for further expanding their partnership.

During the meeting, the participants noted that Uzbekneftegaz and Jereh Group have signed a number of agreements in recent years aimed at strengthening the technical capacity of Uzbekistan's oil and gas sector.

One of the main topics of discussion was Uzbekneftegaz's drilling expansion programme. In this context, the parties reviewed the prospects for acquiring modern cementing units used in the construction of exploration and production wells.

The participants also discussed commercial proposals submitted by Jereh Group and exchanged views on equipment supplies under mutually beneficial terms. Particular attention was given to opportunities to optimise supply conditions in view of the long-term nature of cooperation between the two companies.

At the conclusion of the talks, the parties reaffirmed their interest in further developing their partnership and implementing new projects aimed at modernising Uzbekistan's oil and gas industry.
