Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with Oman’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Wafa Jabr Nasir Al-Busaidi on 6 October.

The sides discussed the current state of trade and economic relations and prospects for their further development.

Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of investment projects included in the bilateral portfolio.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of direct air links in strengthening business contacts between the two countries. Since 4 July, Oman Air has operated two regular direct flights per week on the Muscat–Tashkent route.

Following the talks, the sides agreed to complete preparations for the planned bilateral events on time and ensure the practical advancement of the agreements reached.

Uzbekistan and Oman also intend to continue systematic efforts to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation.
