Uzbekistan U-16 to participate at Caspian Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan U-16 left for Baku, Azerbaijan, to participate at a traditional tournament Caspian Cup, Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) said.

Traditional tournament Caspian Cup will be held in Baku from 29 May to 6 June 2013. Twelve teams U-17 will participate at the tournament. Uzbekistan will be represented by U-16 led by Temur Olimkhodjaev.

Uzbekistan is in Group C along with Jordan and Turkey, the UFF said.

According to tournament rules, each team will have 18 teams. Teams, which claimed top place in groups, will play in semi-final matches.

Uzbekistan will play with Jordan on 30 June 2013 and Turkey on 1 June 2013.
