Uzbekistan to Host First International Islamic Civilization Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The First International Forum of Islamic Civilization will be held in Uzbekistan from 7 July to 11 July 2026. The event will take place in Tashkent, Samarkand, and Termez, gathering scholars, theologians, experts, and representatives of relevant organizations from dozens of countries.

The forum will be held under the motto "Islamic Civilization: The Path of Peace, Tolerance, and Enlightenment." Its program will include scientific discussions, international exhibitions, presentations of rare manuscripts, and cultural and educational events dedicated to the heritage of Islamic civilization.

Particular attention will be paid to the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, as well as the study of the scientific heritage of the thinkers of Mavarannahr.

According to reports, the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent has been included in the Guinness World Records. The center features a unique exposition of 114 Quran manuscripts, which has been recognized as the largest collection of its kind in the world.
