Uzbekistan to host event on internet journalism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A week of young journalism will be held in Uzbekistan in August 2013. Tashkent region will host a media camp for young journalists.

A youth media conference, exhibition of young photo reports and other events will be held in Tashkent city.

The main topic of the week will become actual issues of developing internet journalism in Uzbekistan.

It is organized by National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Fund Forum, and Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi”. The public organizations and the state bodies are partners of the project.

Young journalists at the age between 17 and 30 will participate at the week. On 23 August, youth media conference will be held in Tashkent, which will be an important event of the week.
