Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan has established procedures for transferring and reinstating students at vocational education institutions, as well as transferring 10th-grade students from general education schools to technical colleges.

The relevant Administrative Regulation was approved by Resolution No. 450 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 20 August 2026, according to the document.

Under the regulation, applications for transferring or reinstating studies are accepted annually from 1 to 20 August. A separate application period, from 28 December to 17 January, is set for transferring 10th-grade students from general education institutions to technical colleges.

The state service can be accessed through Public Service Centers or the Unified Interactive Public Services Portal, my.gov.uz.

After the application deadline, the authorized body has 10 days to review the submitted documents. If the information and documents meet the requirements of the regulation, the body issues an opinion on the transfer or reinstatement of studies.

At the same time, students transferring from another form of education, as well as 10th-grade students from general education institutions, may not be transferred to technical colleges under the dual education format.

If inaccurate information is identified in the opinion after it has been issued by the authorized body, the applicant may reapply for the state service. This can be done in accordance with the established procedure within 15 days.
