Uzbek electrical equipment trade center opens in Bishkek
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A 2,000-square-meter trade center and showroom for Uzbek electrical equipment has opened in Bishkek, the Uzeltеhsanoat Association said.
The project was implemented with the participation of the Uzeltеhsanoat Association, Kyrgyz retail chain Electroline and national companies from Uzbekistan.
The new center offers a wide range of electrical products manufactured by Uzbek companies for consumers in Kyrgyzstan.
A representative of the association said Bishkek is Kyrgyzstan’s main trade and economic center, where construction and industry are actively developing. According to the representative, these processes are accompanied by growing demand for electrical equipment in the country.
The opening of the trade center is viewed as one of the mechanisms for further expanding supplies of Uzbek electrical products to the Kyrgyz market.
According to data presented during the event, Uzbekistan’s exports of electrical products to Kyrgyzstan exceed US$40 million. To further increase this figure, the Uzeltеhsanoat Association and its partners opened the showroom and trade center in Bishkek.
The association’s representative also noted growth in Kyrgyzstan’s GDP and population. According to the representative, these factors are contributing to increased consumer purchasing power and demand for electrical products.
The new facility is the second trade center and showroom for Uzbek electrical products opened in Kyrgyzstan, the association said.
