Uzbekistan, Samara Region Discuss Business Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with the participation of Advisor to the Chairman Alisher Shaikhov and a delegation led by First Deputy Head of Samara, Yulia Ashurkova.

During the talks, the sides discussed prospects for further development of trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, with particular attention given to expanding cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.

Priority areas of interaction were identified, including construction and design-survey activities, production of building materials, attraction of qualified specialists, development of the metallurgical industry, agriculture, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the field of information technologies.

The parties also emphasized strengthening practical cooperation between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Russia.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop cooperation focused on practical results, as well as to further strengthen long-term and sustainable partnership relations.
