Uzbekistan, Russia to use Maidanak observatory jointly

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Russia and Uzbekistan initialled agreement on joint use of Maidanak observatory, ITAR-TASS reported quoting Russian Vice-Premier Sergei Ivanov.

He said the object will be used for civil researches of space. He expressed hope that the sides will complete necessary procedures.

After that, Russia will start to invest money to the object to develop it and jointly work with scientists of Uzbekistan.
