Uzbekistan Records 32 Businesses per 1,000 Residents

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — There were 32 business entities per 1,000 residents in Uzbekistan as of 1 July 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The highest rate was registered in the city of Tashkent, where there were 50 business entities per 1,000 people. It was followed by the Khorezm region with an indicator of 46, the Sirdaryo region with 41, and the Navoiy region with 38.

In the Jizzakh and Bukhara regions, the indicator stood at 35 business entities per 1,000 residents. The figure reached 33 in the Tashkent region and 32 in the Andijan region.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, there were 30 business entities per 1,000 residents. The indicator was 27 each in the Ferghana and Samarkand regions, and 26 each in the Kashkadarya and Namangan regions.

The lowest figure was recorded in the Surkhandarya region, where there were 24 business entities per 1,000 residents.
