Uzbekistan and Russian Institute Partner on Social Facility Nutrition
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The National Social Protection Agency has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the Russian Institute of Sectoral Nutrition. The document is aimed at improving the healthy nutrition system in social protection institutions across Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, representatives of both parties discussed the current status of food service organization in social care facilities, the adoption of modern approaches, the improvement of the regulatory and methodological framework, the professional development of specialists, and the expanded application of advanced international practices.
The signed memorandum provides for joint work on developing modern standards and methodological guidelines for catering in social care institutions. Furthermore, the collaboration will cover the refinement of food procurement and delivery systems, the introduction of modern technologies, and the training and advanced training of sector specialists involving international experts.
The implementation of these agreements is expected to contribute to improving food quality and the overall level of social services provided to citizens residing in institutions under the National Social Protection Agency system.
