Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The World Intelligence Expo 2026, an international exhibition and forum dedicated to artificial intelligence and intelligent technologies, opened in Tianjin.
The major technology event is being held from May 28 to 31 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center under the theme “Intelligence: Broad Development Opportunities and a Factor of Sustainable Growth.”
More than 700 companies are participating in the forum, showcasing advanced developments in artificial intelligence, robotics, smart city solutions, digital infrastructure, and drone technologies.
The exhibition has become an international platform for discussions on innovation, the digital economy, and future technologies.
A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism, Abdulaziz Akkulov, is participating in the forum. With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, a national pavilion has been organized at the exhibition dedicated to the country’s tourism and cultural potential.
The Uzbek exhibition combines modern digital solutions with the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage. Visitors showed particular interest in traditional crafts, examples of national applied arts, and presentations of Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism noted that modern technologies are becoming a key factor in the transformation of the global tourism industry.
“Today, a new Silk Road is taking shape — not only through roads and railways, but also through data, artificial intelligence, and digital connectivity. This is the Digital Silk Road,” Abdulaziz Akkulov said.
During the forum, the Uzbek side also presented the implementation of the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy, the development of a Unified National Tourism Platform, and prospects for cooperation with China in digital tourism and intelligent technologies.
The World Intelligence Expo 2026 also features international B2B meetings, presentations of innovative solutions, and negotiations aimed at expanding technological and investment cooperation.
