Uzbekistan Pochtasi offers hybrid money transfer service

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Pochtasi open joint stock company introduced new service – hybrid money transfers, the company said.

The company added it approved and introduced into force “Temporary order of rendering hybrid money transfer services” on 1 January 2010.

Clients can send money via post offices and remittances will be sent to city or regional postal offices with traditional post and from there they will be sent to destination with electronic system.

Earlier, Uzbekistan Pochtasi offered two types of money transfers – traditional and electronic. Remittances via traditional way were accepted and paid in all post offices, while electronic remittances only at 216 post offices, which were connected to electronic system.
