The list included firms from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Türkiye, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, India, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and other countries, as well as local enterprises.
After a three-stage evaluation covering technical, legal and financial criteria, a shortlist of six international companies was selected to proceed to the second stage of the tender, the request for proposals (RFP).
The project is being implemented by Uzbekistan Airports in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Economy and Finance under a presidential decree on the development of public-private partnerships for 2024–2030.
