Uzbekistan Culture Days to Be Held in Kyrgyzstan on 27-28 July
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held on 27-28 July in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region, Kyrgyzstan. About 200 representatives of Uzbekistan’s arts and culture will take part in the cultural programme.
Over two days, residents and visitors to the region will be able to attend concert programmes featuring renowned artists, musical groups and dance ensembles.
Participants will include Uzbekistan’s People’s Artists Farrukh Zakirov, artistic director of the Yalla group, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Kamoliddin Urinbayev, Aigul Nadirova and Zulaykho Boykhonova.
The Navbahor and Tumor dance ensembles will also perform. The concert programme will be complemented by the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan.
Organisers expect the Days of Culture to contribute to strengthening Kyrgyz-Uzbek cultural and humanitarian cooperation, expanding creative ties and familiarising people in both countries with the cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
