Uzbekneftegaz Delegation Visits Honghua Drilling Rig Plant

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekneftegaz, led by Chairman of the Management Board Abdugani Sanginov, visited the manufacturing facilities of Honghua Group, one of the world's leading producers of drilling equipment, on the second day of its working visit to China.

As part of the implementation of a previously signed contract for the supply of four modern drilling rigs, members of the Uzbek delegation reviewed the manufacturing, assembly and testing processes.

The delegation toured the company's main production facilities, where it observed the fabrication of steel structures, machining of components, assembly of major units and final installation of the drilling rigs.

Honghua Group specialists presented detailed information on the technical specifications of the equipment being produced for Uzbekneftegaz, its compliance with international standards and the capabilities of its digital control systems.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the contract, the timely delivery of the equipment and arrangements for after-sales service.

The project was described as important for the phased modernisation of Uzbekneftegaz's drilling rig fleet, the optimisation of production costs and the further expansion of the company's drilling capabilities.
