Uzbekistan, Partex AI Discuss AI in Pharma Sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan met with representatives from Partex AI on 26 August 2026 to discuss integrating artificial intelligence and digital technologies into the country's pharmaceutical and biomedical sectors.

During the meeting in Tashkent, officials and company executives focused on digitalizing the pharmaceutical industry, utilizing AI to improve drug development processes, and implementing digital solutions in practical operations.

The discussions covered the application of AI in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, with specific emphasis on expanding scientific research, upgrading data analysis capabilities, and introducing innovative technologies into manufacturing processes.

Representatives of the agency outlined existing opportunities for deploying digital technologies and AI-based solutions in Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical sector, presenting information on ongoing innovative projects in the field.

Following the talks, both sides agreed to maintain an ongoing dialogue on implementing AI and digital solutions while planning further exchange of expertise and the development of joint projects.
