Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan lost 0-2 to the Republic of Korea in a friendly match during the October FIFA international window.

The match was played on 6 October at Yongin Mireu Stadium in Yongin, South Korea.

The hosts opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Republic of Korea captain Son Heung-min found the net to put his team ahead.

After the break, the Korean side extended its lead. Oh Se-hun scored the second goal in the 60th minute to set the final score at 2-0.

Uzbekistan thus ended the October international window with a defeat.

Before the match against South Korea, Fabio Cannavaro’s team had played two friendly matches during the international window. Uzbekistan defeated Iran 3-1 and Syria 4-1.
