Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan athletics representative Sukhrob Khodjaev has won a gold medal at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya.
Competing in the hammer throw, he recorded a result of 74.38 metres to become the champion of the event.
The victory marked Khodjaev’s third attempt to win the Asian Games title. This time, the Uzbek athlete produced a result that earned him the gold medal.
