Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent Mayor Shavkat Umurzakov signed a resolution on 29 October 2026 allocating 5 billion soums to Pakhtakor Football Club. The funding will come from the Tashkent City Development Fund administered by the capital’s mayor’s office.

The resolution provides for transferring the funds to Pakhtakor FC LLC to cover expenses in accordance with the club’s approved budget.

The allocation was based on a proposal submitted by the deputy mayor responsible for youth policy, social development and spiritual and educational affairs, together with the municipal assets management centre of the Tashkent mayor’s office.

Under the resolution, First Deputy Mayor for Finance, Economy and Poverty Reduction Dauletiyar Khudaybergenov has been instructed to submit a proposal to the supervisory board of Toshkent Invest kompaniyasi JSC on transferring 5 billion soums to the club. He must also work with the company to ensure that the funds are allocated from the Tashkent City Development Fund.

The Municipal Assets Management Centre, headed by Akhadym Razzokov, has been tasked with increasing its stake in the authorised capital using the allocated funds and ensuring that the money is used for its designated purposes.
