Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's team has won two medals at the IV Summer Youth Olympic Games in Dakar: a bronze medal in swimming and a silver medal in judo.
Swimmer Muhammadismoil Rakhmonov secured the first medal for the Uzbek delegation. He finished third in the 200m breaststroke with a time of 2 minutes 15.79 seconds.
The second medal was won by judoka Jurabek Eshpulatov. Competing in the under-100kg weight category, he lost in the final and claimed silver.
