Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan Boost Business Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 April, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan, Duyshonkul Chotonov.
During the talks, the sides reviewed prospects for further expansion of trade and economic cooperation, as well as strengthening interaction between the business communities of the two countries with the aim of increasing mutual trade volumes.
The discussions also focused on proposals to hold the next meeting of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Business Council in June in Bishkek and to organize a joint business forum featuring B2B meetings for representatives of the entrepreneurial sectors.
The parties exchanged views on opportunities for implementing joint projects in trade, logistics, agriculture, and industrial cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to further intensify business ties between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and continue work on implementing agreed initiatives.
