Uzbekistan introduces 12 new projects to localization programme

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Government of Uzbekistan introduced 12 new projects to its progamme on localization of production of ready products, spare parts and materials, export-oriented and import-replacing products for 2012.

The decision was adopted in order to stimulate production of export-oriented and import-replacing localized goods.

In particular, new projects on production of barium sulfate concentrate, fiber from used polyethylene terephthalate bottles, fittings from polypropylene, components for cars, etc.

Six projects will be implemented in Tashkent city, three in Samarkand region and one in Tashkent and Bukhara regions each.
