Uzbekistan Household Car Ownership Reaches 61 per 100
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, the average number of passenger cars per 100 households reached 61 units in 2025, according to sample household survey data from the National Statistics Committee.
The indicator has shown steady growth over recent years. In 2010, there were 21 cars per 100 households, rising to 42 in 2015 and 49 in 2020. Over the past fifteen years, the level of motorisation has more than tripled.
The statistical data reflects a gradual increase in household access to private transport and highlights the growing role of passenger cars in everyday mobility across the country.
