Uzbekistan holds a month against drug addiction

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A month against drug addiction is taking place in Uzbekistan. Within the month, it is planned to conduct preventive measures.

UzA said that the month is organized within the approved programme of complex measures against drug addiction and illegal drug trafficking for 2011-2015.

During the month, wide-scale propaganda activities directed at preventing drug addiction are conducted, the report said.

Various charity concerts are held and films about harm of narcotics are demonstrated across Uzbekistan, UzA said.

Meetings, lectures, roundtables and other events are organized at mahallas, children camps, clubs and other places.
