Uzbekistan Havo Yollari opens additional flight to Riga

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) introduced additional flight on the route Tashkent-Riga-Tashkent on 24 December.

The Uzbek national airline hopes to increase tourism flow from Baltic states to Uzbekistan or via transit to Southern-Eastern Asia.

Aziz Mahmadinov, representatives of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, said that there are demand in these directions as well as flight Tashkent-Riga-New York and vise-versa.

Currently, Tashkent and Riga linked with four flights, of which two carried out by Uzbek airline and two by airBaltic. From 2004, there is also flight Tashkent-Riga-New York.
