Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - A meeting with representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) was held at the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.
On the agenda is cooperation in the preparation of qualified personnel for state tax authorities. In particular, to attract resources for the development of methodological aids, textbooks and teaching aids (software components) of a new generation on taxation procedure, tax administration for the Fiscal Institute under the State Tax Committee, as well as similar specialized literature for technical schools of the State Oil Company.
Jörg Pudelka, director of the representative office of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), noted that the Federal Government of Germany aims at targeted interaction with Uzbekistan, providing assistance to large and effective projects in several directions. And the tax area is one of the key ones.
“This meeting with the State Tax Committee is the first step towards a long-term and effective dialogue. I am sure that concrete proposals for our further cooperation will be considered in the near future,” said Jörg Pudelka.
