Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekhydroenergo JSC donated a collection of books dedicated to the history of Uzbekistan to the National Assembly Library of the Republic of Korea, the company said.
Promoting a reading culture, developing the spiritual and intellectual potential of the younger generation, studying national history and rich cultural heritage in depth, and widely promoting them internationally continue to be important areas of state policy.
These initiatives put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev contribute to preserving the centuries-old history, national values and spiritual heritage of the Uzbek people, as well as further strengthening the role of books, science and education in society.
As a practical implementation of these educational initiatives at the international level during a visit to the Republic of Korea, Uzbekhydroenergo JSC formally presented the National Assembly Library of the Republic of Korea with a collection of books dedicated to Uzbekistan’s rich history, national statehood, cultural heritage, modern development and development path.
The collection includes works by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, educational and scholarly publications on the country’s history and cultural heritage, as well as books reflecting Uzbekistan’s modern development.
The placement of the donated books in the Central Asia Pavilion of the National Assembly Library of the Republic of Korea is of particular significance.
The publications will now serve as an important educational source for Korean readers, researchers, students, scholars, members of the public and foreign visitors seeking information about Uzbekistan’s history, culture and modern development.
During Uzbekhydroenergo JSC’s business trip to the Republic of Korea, alongside studying advanced experience in hydropower, developing mutual cooperation and strengthening professional ties, initiatives are also being implemented to promote Uzbekistan’s rich history, culture and modern achievements.
A book is a memory that preserves the history of a people, an invaluable source of knowledge and education passed down from generation to generation, as well as a spiritual bridge that brings peoples closer together.
