Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A new kindergarten with capacity for 360 children is planned in Karshi, while School No. 43 will undergo a complete renovation. Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva announced the plans following visits to educational institutions in the city.

She said the building housing Kindergarten No. 1 was in a state of disrepair, while School No. 43 needed improvements to its heating system and replacement of outdated furniture.

A new building designed to accommodate 360 children is planned on the site of the existing kindergarten.

School No. 43 is to be fully reconstructed and equipped with modern educational laboratories. Plans also include creating facilities for extracurricular creative activities and providing an inclusive learning environment for children with special educational needs.

During her visit, Mirziyoyeva also toured the new Kashkadarya Technical School of Advanced Professional Skills, where she reviewed the training facilities for young specialists.

She said the aim was to ensure that children have suitable conditions for development and learning at every stage, from preschool education to vocational training.
