Uzbekistan Extradites Three Wanted Suspects From Türkiye
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Three Uzbek citizens wanted through Interpol have been extradited from Türkiye to Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
According to the ministry, the suspects were located during operational search activities while hiding in Istanbul. After the required procedures were completed, they were extradited to Uzbekistan.
Those extradited include a 28-year-old native of the Samarkand Region, who was placed on the international wanted list on charges of committing a serious crime against sexual integrity; a 34-year-old native of the Bukhara Region, who was wanted on fraud charges; and a 50-year-old native of Tashkent, who is accused of large-scale fraud.
The ministry said that after arriving in Uzbekistan, the extradited individuals were handed over to the competent law enforcement authorities in accordance with the established procedure.
