Uzbekistan Envoys Attend BRICS AI Seminar in Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — An Uzbek delegation consisting of ten representatives is participating in the international seminar "Artificial Intelligence and BRICS Competition Policy" held in Moscow. The primary objective of the event is to enhance the knowledge and professional competencies of government officials in the field of artificial intelligence.

According to the report, the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee became one of the first state bodies of Uzbekistan whose representatives are participating in this international seminar to advance the qualifications of specialists in the field of artificial intelligence.

During the event, participants are discussing the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on competition policy, the development of digital markets, algorithmic pricing, as well as current issues of antitrust regulation within the digital economy.

The seminar is attended by representatives from Russia, China, India, Brazil, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Iran, Ethiopia, Uzbekistan, and other states.

In addition, special training sessions were organized for the Uzbek delegation from 24 to 26 June 2026. Their program included the study of modern artificial intelligence technologies, international experience in their application, as well as practices of using AI in the analysis of competitive markets and within the sphere of antitrust regulation.

Participation in the seminar is expected to enable specialists from the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee to familiarize themselves with advanced international experience in implementing artificial intelligence into competition policy and commodity market analysis.
