Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — VC Party Tashkent, a meeting of investors, startup founders, business angels and representatives of Central Asia’s technology market, will take place on 23 September. The event will be held at Shanghai 1984 at 42 Babur Street, on the 18th floor, starting at 19:00.
The organisers aim to create a platform for informal communication among members of the venture ecosystem, new business contacts, discussions of potential partnerships and investment opportunities.
The evening programme will include networking with investors and startup founders, welcome drinks and a DJ set. Guests will also have the opportunity to enter a draw for a flight ticket to China provided by the event’s official aviation partner, Air Astana.
The winner will receive a round-trip economy-class ticket from Tashkent and will be able to choose one of four destinations: Urumqi, Beijing, Guangzhou or Shanghai.
The organisers said the partnership with Air Astana is aimed at expanding opportunities for international cooperation, business travel and the development of ties between Central Asia and key Asian markets.
The number of tickets for the event is limited. Tickets can be purchased on the official VC Party Tashkent website.
The flight ticket will be provided to one person. All applicable taxes and fees will be paid by the winner. The organisers also reserve the right to change the participation terms, as well as the procedure and timing of the draw, in the event of technical, organisational or other unforeseen circumstances.
