Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Short-term queues of trucks leaving Uzbekistan have formed at the S. Najimov border customs post in Tashkent region, the Tashkent Regional Customs Department said.
The necessary personnel and resources have been mobilized at the post to promptly clear the queues.
The Customs Department noted that the duration of customs clearance also depends on the efficiency of the border crossing point in the neighbouring country. In this regard, operational coordination has been established between the heads of the border customs posts of the two countries.
Truck drivers heading to border and customs posts can receive up-to-date information about the queue situation through a dedicated Telegram group and use the information to choose their route.
