Uzbekistan attracts US$622.5m to improve water supply quality
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Government of Uzbekistan plans to attract US$622.5 million of foreign credits to realize investment projects on improvement of water supply.
The Chinese Government issued US$365.7 million to finance 12 projects through credits allocated to the SCO member states.
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (part of World Bank Group) allocated US$76 million to four projects.
Two projects will be realized with financial assistance of the Islamic Development Bank (US$69.6 million), two projects - Asian Development Bank (US$60.2 million), four projects - South Korean Eximbank (US$51 million).
