Uzbekistan and United States Discuss Energy Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with Christopher Klein, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State.

During the meeting, the sides reviewed priority areas of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was given to expanding collaboration in the energy sector, which was noted as playing an important role in ensuring sustainable economic growth.

The participants discussed prospects for strengthening partnership and further developing engagement between Uzbekistan and the United States across key areas of cooperation.
