Volume of Healthcare Services in Uzbekistan Exceeds UZS 11 Trillion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The volume of services in the healthcare sector in Uzbekistan in January–June 2026 reached UZS 11.3 trillion, representing a 16.8% increase compared to the same period last year. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

Other healthcare services accounted for the largest share in the structure of provided services at 53.7%. Hospital services made up 31.8% of the total volume, while medical practice and dental services accounted for 14.5%.

The highest volume of healthcare services was recorded in Tashkent, reaching UZS 5.2 trillion over the six-month period.

This was followed by the Tashkent region with UZS 1.1 trillion and the Samarkand region with UZS 830.2 billion.

In the Fergana region, the volume of services reached UZS 675.4 billion, in the Namangan region — UZS 550.4 billion, and in the Andijan region — UZS 507.2 billion.

In the Bukhara region, the figure reached UZS 392.3 billion, in the Khorezm region — UZS 390.9 billion, in the Kashkadarya region — UZS 360.4 billion, and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan — UZS 335.5 billion.

The volume of healthcare services in the Surkhandarya region stood at UZS 262 billion, in the Jizzakh region — UZS 251.5 billion, in the Syrdarya region — UZS 203.2 billion, and in the Navoi region — UZS 193.1 billion.
