Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan Foreign Ministers Discuss Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional engagement.

According to Uzbekistan's top diplomat, the two sides noted the high level of strategic partnership and allied relations between their countries.

Saidov said the close and trusted dialogue between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan provides a solid foundation for the continued development of cooperation across all areas.

During the meeting, the ministers reviewed key issues on the bilateral agenda and stressed the importance of the timely and effective implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.

The two sides also exchanged views on cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and discussed regional and international issues.
