Mirziyoyev, Minnikhanov Discuss Uzbekistan-Tatarstan Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, during which they discussed the development of interregional cooperation.

At the beginning of the conversation, Minnikhanov congratulated Mirziyoyev on his birthday, wishing him good health, well-being and continued success in his work for the benefit of the people of Uzbekistan.

The two sides reviewed issues related to further expanding practical cooperation between Uzbekistan's regions and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Particular attention was paid to measures aimed at increasing bilateral trade and accelerating the implementation of industrial cooperation projects in priority sectors.
