Uzbekistan, Pakistan Outline New Strategic Partnership Steps
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, to discuss the further development of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
According to Saidov, the two sides outlined further steps aimed at translating the new momentum in bilateral relations into practical results.
Particular attention was given to using existing potential to increase bilateral trade, strengthen transport connectivity and expand interregional cooperation.
The two sides also underscored the importance of further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan within international and regional organisations.
