Tashkent Retains Lead in Construction Volume
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In January–June 2026, the volume of construction works in Uzbekistan reached UZS 192.0 trillion. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
The largest volume of construction work was performed in Tashkent, where the figure reached UZS 61.2 trillion. The Tashkent region ranked second with UZS 18.8 trillion, followed by the Fergana region in third place with UZS 12.1 trillion.
The top five regions also included the Bukhara region, where UZS 10.7 trillion worth of construction work was executed, and the Samarkand region with UZS 9.9 trillion.
In the Kashkadarya region, the volume of construction works stood at UZS 9.4 trillion, in the Andijan region — UZS 9.0 trillion, in the Navoi region — UZS 8.6 trillion, in the Khorezm region — UZS 8.5 trillion, and in the Namangan region — UZS 8.4 trillion.
In the Surkhandarya region, construction works valued at UZS 7.9 trillion were completed during the reporting period, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan — UZS 6.6 trillion, in the Jizzakh region — UZS 4.8 trillion, and in the Syrdarya region — UZS 3.7 trillion.
