Uzcharmsanoat Business Mission in Kazan Yields $6 Million in Export Agreements
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Uzcharmsanoat Association successfully concluded a business mission in Kazan (Russian Federation), which took place from August 2 to 4. As part of the visit, representatives of the Uzbek leather and footwear industry participated in a series of bilateral meetings, negotiations, and events aimed at expanding trade and economic cooperation, according to the Association's press service.
The primary result of the business mission was the signing of export agreements totaling US$6 million. Contracts were concluded by leading enterprises in the sector — Fayz Baraka Charm LLC, Maxsus Poyabzal LLC, and Samira Textil LLC.
The program also included a specialized exhibition showcasing the export potential of Uzbekistan's leather and footwear industry. The exposition was visited by representatives of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan, who examined the product range, manufacturing capabilities of the enterprises, and prospects for further cooperation.
Special emphasis was placed on presenting the investment and export potential of the industry. Participants were introduced to the capabilities of Uzbek manufacturers, modern production facilities, and conditions for implementing joint projects.
The negotiations and agreements reached mark an important step toward further strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
The business mission opened new avenues for implementing joint initiatives, broadening the export geography of domestic leather and footwear products, and increasing mutual trade volumes.
