Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Kahramon Yuldashev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan Rafidah Abdul Aziz, Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) Chief Executive Officer Belvinder Sron, and members of a Malaysian delegation at the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, according to the ministry.

The parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation in food security, agriculture, and the implementation of modern technologies.

During the talks, the participants reviewed issues related to expanding agricultural interaction, ensuring food security, developing the oil and fats industry, broadening scientific cooperation, and executing joint investment projects.

Special attention was given to studying advanced international experience, developing the processing industry, expanding value chains, and strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships in promising areas.

The meeting took place as part of the international forum "Food Safety & Innovation: Palm Oil Solutions for Central Asia" held in Tashkent.
