Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 14 June 2025, a meeting was held in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, between Jasurbek Choriyev, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Purevjav Munkhjargal, head of the airline Hunnu Air.
The two sides discussed prospects for expanding Uzbek-Mongolian cooperation in the field of civil aviation. Particular attention was given to the potential launch of direct flights between Ulaanbaatar and Tashkent, as well as to creating conditions for Mongolian citizens to use Uzbekistan’s airports for transit travel to third countries.
The discussion also covered opportunities to better harness the tourism potential of both countries and to strengthen cooperation in the field of transit cargo transportation.
As a result of the meeting, the parties outlined specific tasks and steps necessary to put the agreements into practice.
