Uzbekistan and China expand cooperation in healthcare
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and China have agreed to expand cooperation in healthcare following a meeting between Abdulla Azizov, director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, and representatives of Chinese company Guangzhou Concord Center.
The sides signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation following the meeting, the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry said.
The participants discussed further expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in healthcare, introducing modern technologies, exchanging experience and implementing joint projects.
Particular attention was paid to improving the quality of medical services and applying modern diagnostic and treatment methods in medical practice.
The sides also considered opportunities to introduce advanced technologies to support the development of the sector.
The memorandum provides a framework for further practical cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives.
The document is also intended to help develop new areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in healthcare.
